Privacy policy

The short version

This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies that identify you. Nothing follows you around after you leave. The only information I ever receive is what you deliberately type into the discovery call form and send me.

What the form collects

Your name and email address, and — if you choose to fill them in — where you're training from, what you'd like to work on, and anything you'd like me to know in advance. Your email address is the only one of these I actually need, because without it I have no way to reply.

The form also records how many milliseconds passed between the page loading and the form being submitted, and includes one hidden field that real people never see. Both exist only to filter out automated spam, and neither tells me anything about you.

What happens to it

The form sends me an email through Resend, an email delivery service. I read it, and I reply from my own inbox. That is the entire journey.

I do not sell it, share it, add it to a mailing list, or pass it to anyone else. If you book and we start working together, I'll keep our correspondence and the notes I make about your training, because that is how I do my job properly. If you'd like me to delete all of it, ask and I will.

Anything you tell me about your health

People often mention an injury, a surgery or something they're working around. That's genuinely useful and I'd rather know. I keep it private, I don't discuss it with anyone, and I only use it when I'm deciding what we do in a session.

To be clear about what I am: I'm a personal trainer and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, not a medical professional. Nothing you tell me becomes a medical record, and nothing I say replaces what your doctor or physiotherapist tells you.

Where the site is hosted

On Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, their servers log basic request information such as IP addresses for security and reliability. I don't have access to those logs and don't use them.

Where this site links somewhere else, that site has its own privacy practices and this page doesn't cover them.

Write toinfo@katiethepersonaltrainer.comand ask me anything — what I hold, why, or to have it deleted. It's me who reads it, and I'll answer plainly.
